If a box is blank or shows a placeholder, run through this checklist.
- Is the API connected? Check Product Review → Amazon API — the status must be green. See Connect the Amazon API.
- Is the ASIN valid for your marketplace? Some ASINs aren’t returned by the API. Try the product on the same Amazon marketplace you configured.
- Is the shortcode correct? It should be
[pr box="ASIN"]. A smart-quote (“ ”) instead of a straight quote breaks it — retype it in the code/HTML view. - Throttled? If you just imported many products, Amazon may be rate-limiting. See RequestThrottled.
- Caching plugin? Clear your page cache after adding a box.
